Retail Store
Design
Our speciality is Store design (Store Planning)
in the Retail environment. We manage entire turmkey store projects from inception, design, planning, through to implementation,
completion and handover. Individual processes within the scope of the projects are also handled.
Our extensive retail design and fit out project management experience spanning over 25 years, enables us to focus on the common goal which is to commence trading on a set opening date, within time and budget constraints. Meeting stringent tenant criteria set by the Developers, architects and professional teams and constant liaison, ensure that the set standards are comfortably met. Simply put, we understand the need to create inspirational and functional retail environments for enhancing the customers shoppping experience.
Revamps of existing stores is another of our specialities, enuring continuous trading in a safe environment, with minimal disruptions.
Residential and warehouse design
We also provide services for residential designs, new and alterations and other buildings as regulated by the South African Council of Architectural Professionals (SACAP) of which K2 Designs is a registered member. Strict adherance to the SACAP code of ethics and the SANS10400 building regulations assist us to govern our conduct with integrity and competence.
Full architectural draughting (plan drawing) services using Autocad and Revit Architecture software.
All our plans are submitted to and approved by the Local Authorities.
Fit out and residential construction Project Management
Coordination of construction teams and contractors. Disciplines include: Project initiation and design development;. tender documentation and procurement; implementation of clients approved design within set time frames and budgets.
We proactively and skilfully manage projects to a successful conclusion on programme and within set budgets. This enables us to achieve functional performance whilst displaying quality and enhancing the enviromnmental aesthetics of the store portfolio.
